Saturday I was in a funk. I had seen Janie briefly on Friday, still not sure what she wanted. Then Sat. I was on my way to the grocery store and she was at the trailer (?) I pulled in and honked the horn, she was there. And then she left. Still not sure what is going on with her. It just made me be in a mood I didn't care to be in. Today Sunday, I got up with a new purpose. I started cleaning the back porch, we had neglected it all summer and it did need a good cleaning. It feels so much better now.
Kent hung all my flags, and I have lots of old flags from his grandpa and my grandpa, and then just some I have. He rigged them all up across the back of the screen and then rolled them all up. It looks so much better than them in a cluster in the corner. He will do anything I ask him to do if he can, except hang tennis rackets, I don't know why but he refuses to hang them on the ceiling on the porch. I think it would be cool. I may try that on my own, he might not even notice it.
He has been so busy messing with Lt. Dan. The run is Nov 17 he had 2 more bolts to attached when I called him in for supper, now he is back out there, rattling my windows.
Our old mattress was on the back porch because We got a new mattress! I love it. I haven't known what a good nights sleep was in a long time. Thanks nettie for ordering the wrong size!!
We put the old mattress on the back porch, that was on the cleaning list. It's good, clean I have always kept a mattress protector on it. Jeff said he might take it to a friend if I didn't want it...Well I don't want it anymore, it is taking up precious room in my storage area now. Pretty soon, like in a week or 2 we will be pulling out ALL the Christmas decor!! CAn't wait can't wait!
Jack came down for a little bit and I ask him if I could have Hughlene's Christmas plates, he didn't even know she any. If I knew where they were I could get them. Kent even knew where they were so yeppers, I got the plates, service for 8. I had to borrow some when our house was on the Tour of Homes. Now I have "Gurney" Love!!
Speaking of love:
I love my new co-worker Kathy,my old coworker Carla, my New Computer, Coconut Cake Recipes, new shoes, my new shotgun and fake fingernail you can put on yourself.
Kathy showed me that one less than $5 and I already got compliments on them.
The boys are coming over Tuesday after school and spend the night and I will get them to school on Wednesday. It has been so long I hope I can do it. I am looking forward to it.
Kent just came back in the house, so I guess Lt. Dan is to his liking. I hope we don't get stuck right off the bat!
Love to all and to all a good night! Nen

Nothing really
I got the kitchen clean, the world series is over, Kent is working on Lt. Dan, so I thought I would just write a little. Maybe a whole lot about nothing.
Kent is trying to get Lt. Dan ( our mud truck) up and running for the Mud Run on Nov. 17. It is going to be so much fun. The recycle me retreat in Nov 3, as bad as I need recycling, my heart is not into it much anymore. I have truned my troubles over to the Lord and I will not shed another tear for Janie. It only is causing me grief. I still have a good relationship with the gkids dads, that I can see and get them anytime I want to, and I do. I miss my daughter but she has her own life to live and she does not want me in it, so that is the way it will be.
Kharley is doing great in Royse City. Kentlee and Kyle are on a regular routine and are beginning to come back strong. I know they miss there mom they are so much better off until she gets her shit together. Jeff has made a 360 and cares for the boys with all his heart. They both are good dads.
Don't want to talk about her...........
I don't have windows 7 loaded on my new computer. I send out the McKenzie Christmas letter each year and this year is proving to be a challenge. If you can't find Word document on your computer you are pretty much screwed. What is a Certificate of Authenticity code??? I threw the box away, if it was on the box, someone should have told me. Looks like a certificate would reveal itself as such with neon sign saying, " DON'T THROW THIS AWAY STUPID!" I didn't see it if it was there, probaly written in Japenese.
I want my bathroom remodeled. I NEVER take a bath in my tub (old deep claw foot tub) the boys have just about outgrown it, so I want a big ole walk in shower and Kent to have his own sink, it be tall for him. Then I don't have to look at his shaving stuff all over my cabinet. It seems like an easy remodel, to me, but Kent says it will be major, like most of the project I dream of.
I got a new mattress this past weekend. Thank you Nettie, it cost me a trip to Austin but I would have drove to TimBuckTOO had I of known what a difference a good nights sleep fealt like. I had no idea I hated my old mattress so much. I LOVE THIS NEW ONE!!! We still are on a queen size mattress have been for 36 years and I don't see us changing any time soon. I like being able to touch Kent at night when I reach out. Just a touch sometimes is all I need to know it is all gonna be ok.
I went to see Mr. Wallace while he was in hospice at Tyler. He is a good man. When he goes he will be missed by a lot of people at RISD. He and his wife Nina, are a good influence on small kids. Like the great greandparents to the world. Hope he goes easy when it happens. He has cancer.
When we went to Austin we took the truck and trailer. I had it serviced before we went. Services it called for a new battery, a used tire, new windshield wipers, new air filter, and oild change, then we had to get a spare tire for the trailer. Before we even left the county it costs us over $300 that day. We won't be going back anytime soon. OH!! then we got on the loop where you can drive 80-85 mph, and had to pay $20 in tolls because of the trailer...Maybe that mattress did cost of a lot of money.
I can hear Kent tuning up Lt. Dan...it is rattling the windows and drowning out the TV...such little things make him happy...like a very loud Monster Truck!!
Lost part of a back tooth this week, I guess I will wait until it starts hurting before I call the dentist, right now, food no longers gets hung up in it, and it is so nice not chew on a tooth pick after supper.
Well this fat girl is gonna watch some reruns of something, so I will close.
Love to all and to all a good night.

When are you to old for seminars?
I was just wondering....I have been to all kind of trainings, seminars, conferences, round tables, call it whatever, I have been to it. If I had gone to college would I have to do this? I enjoy going don't get me wrong, but I just wonder when I get to do my job and no one improves it or change it or make it "more friendly"? I saw a friend the other day and she said her supervisor was going to another conference and this time she had to room with another person she did not like. I would hate that!! I leave this week and I have a room all to myself....Thank you for the small things. My training is in Austin, so I have insider info, and already know what roads NOT to go on and where to stay, so I enjoy the trips, just wish I could KNOW IT ALL so I didn't have to leave this place I call Paradise.
cough cough......You know when I leave Kent will not make the bed, and leave all the cabinets open and his wash rag in the shower! Yep this is my Paradise, would have no other.
Hope all is well in your Paradise.
Happiness and Smiles!

3months later
Okay since the last time I posted anything this has totally changed, so I'm not sure if anyone will ever get to read this.
I have been thru Hell and back with Janie and her family. I love her but right now I can't stand her or her decisions and the choices she is making. Not my business until it involves the 3 little kids I care so much for, and then I make it my business!
She has fought me tooth and nail and called me everything but a child of God and I have come to the conclusion and am in agreement with the saying" what don't kill me will make me stronger." Or something like that.
I have a new job since the last time I posted. I started July 17 at the HISTORICAL RAINS COUNTY COURTHOUSE! I love working with Kathy and Wayne, they make me smile.
Kent is still the one constant in my life and I cling to him to the point of him being smothered.
I have meet the new Superintendent of RISD, so far he seems to be a nice guy with a good attitude, I;m sure Jeff F and Josh W will cure that before to long. Hope not though.
Jeannette has sold her house in Austin and it looks like she will truly be moving back home, I really had my doubts but it is looking very promising now. She will live with us until she gets her house built down here.
Just what Kent needs, another me to wart the hell out of him. LOL
Kharley is loving Royse City, I still hate it. Kentlee and Kyle are adjusting to a regular routine. Kentlee is the fashionista and Kyle could care less, they keep me hopping. I want to do so much for all of the them, but have to pull back.
OH MY----did I mention I got a new computer???!! It is all in one, like those wrenchs you see at sears...everything in a easy package...This I am in love with.
I need Bradshaw Tech Support to come show me all the bells and whistles...hint hint
I miss you Carla, I need a cigarette and a sonic sweet tea.
I will try and figure out how to post this and hope someone gets to read it.
Happy trails ya'll.

Happy 4th Ya'll
Got up this am at 515 to smell of coffee....yep Jeannette is here for the 4th. We went fishing at Mt. Pleasant today. Our plan was to spend the day and night fishing. I am so glad I went in my car. The pond we fished was not catfish friendly. Tutz and I lasted about 1 1/2 hours and couldn't wait to go to Boyd's for real fishing. One thing about Mt. Pleasant well 2 things: it is BEAUTIFUL and is for Bass fisherman.
The tournament for Xpress (the team Kharley plays on) is over. We got buried both games. I knew during the regular session if we didn't come up against strong competition we couldn't hang with the age group, and yes I was right. Wow it was not pretty. Now the boyz will start there tourney next week. (will this ever end?)
Kharley is back with Trey, the boyz are with Jeff today. Kent's vacation is almost over and I am not looking forward to him going back to work. It has really been nice him at home "piddlin" with little stuff that just needed done. He and Kharley made plans for a bigger better play house, so niext time she is in, they will get that started together.
I heard that the world was ending in 2012, I wonder if this is the start of a new world. So far, it has not been so good. Here is hoping for a quick turn around. Happy 4th to all and to all a good day.
love, Nen

Bonus points at the pump
2.98 is what I paid per gallon today for gas. thank you brookshires for the points! The tomatoes are still good, enjoying my samwitches, the pool is wonderful entertainment for the grands, this summer is flying by.
I registered the boyz for VBS at Emory BC this week, they are really enjoying it.
It has taken me a few weeks to realize the meaning of don't sweat the small stuff. To kids it is huge but the big picture, who give a shit if the dishes aren't in the dishwasher, if there are clothes to be folded, if the damn dog is in the house for the 100th time of the day. I look at the kids and they smile and laugh and PLAY. Entertaining them is nothing. I do try and keep an eye out for harmful stuff, but I figure if they are used to seeing wasp spray on the porch table, then it won't be a surprise if they see me use it. WHICH brings us the biggest, ugliest, biggest spider in the world today on the OUTSIDE screen (thank goodness) I say--Well we won't bother him and maybe he will go away. I lock the screen door (duh and yes he could open the door if he wanted to) and go about doing something else (like loading the gun) and when I return Kharley and her friend have gone outside and captured SpiderZilla and put it in a critter box!! So now I have a captured spider dinosaur in a cage looking at me when I go outside.....It does NOT like his new digs. It growls at me I swear! the boyz make a wide circle around the table because they are scared as I am of this Monster and Kharley is happy to have a pet in the critter box. geez!!
At the time all are playing there are tons of things that need to be done and I sit here in the A/C wishing I had a job to go to for adult conversation!!
I haven't got to go fishing in a week, so I am missing out on the biggest fish of my life, I just know it. Our friend Deb had total knee replacement surgery so she will not be able to make love to her fishing pole again for a while. \o/
Next week Kent is on vacation, I hope we don't work the entire time and have a few days to fish or go somewhere. Pam you come on down when you get a chance and we will do some moon light fishing if nothing else! I hope everyone is having a good summer to all be safe.

TOMATOES and MORE Catfishing
Well I am glad you ask, my tomatoes are wonderful. I had the best samwiches for lunch and tonite Kent grilled us some burgers and again the tomatoes were FabUlous!!! Something about a homegrown mater makes the meal.
We helped Rob and Susan NO I helped Rob and Susan take down a filled above ground 28 ft swimming pool on Saturday. Took us about 4 hours. Rob knocked me down and now I have a crack in my butt.
I can't remember the last time I fell so hard on my arse! I just knew I had broken my hip, back, leg and shoulder beside my pride. But I was able to convince Kent to go back with me on Sunday for more punishment (!) to put the pool up so there grandkids can have as much fun as ours. We just put up the wall of the pool and as soon as the liner comes in we will go back and complete the transaction
Roger Bryant retired from RISD after 40+ years of teaching. We dropped by and had the best time visiting and just happen to find a fish fry in the making. (LOL) Some of the funniest stories were told and Kent was involved in quite a few.
I am kinda enjoying being off work. I hate the fact I have to ask Kent for money when I want to do something. Hughlene always said you needed your own perfume and magazine money, and I now know what she was talking about.
Tutz and I are keeping the catfish scared to death at Boyd's. We try and go at least 2 times a week. I don't feel like I need to fish more than that, I haven't figured out why though. Quilt I think. Kents working and I'm fishing.......guilt, guilt guilt
We took Deb fishing with us the other day, and again I get tickled and wet on myself. Now Deb is not your avg fisherwoman. She brings her own wet ones and cleans her hands after each baiting of the hook. She has on full make and perfume, clean white shirt and ironed shorts... And I love her for this. She is the reason I wet myself. She caught the biggest catfish ever for her, all she could do was say OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD! Kinda has a sexual tone to it and I look at Tutz who is on the other side of the pond laughing at Deb. I kept telling Deb to reel him in! Hold the Rod up! Tutz is laughing.....Deb has the reel between her legs reeling in the fish with the tip of the pole in the water. I don't know what to do? So I get tickled at Tutz laughing and Deb having an orgasim over a fish....Do I let her lose the fish or see if she can land him. I can't tell if I need to get the dip net? I just can't tell!? Tutz won't tstop laughing or get up off her bucket and help so I take the pole from Deb and just show her if you hold the pole up and reel you have a little more idea of what you got. Finally we can see we won't need the net for this one, so I give it all back to Deb and she lands the biggest fish she has ever caught.....
Yep I think I will let Kent keep working and I will fish a few more days. and eat maters!!

Fishing, Tomatoes, Dogs and Swimming Pools
School is out today! Promised Kharley I would take her shopping. The Colby and Chelsey graduate tonite, Shelby graduates on Friday.. We are a proud Aunt and Uncle to these great kids.
My tomatoes are huge, the plants and the fruit! Waiting for them to ripen, my mouth is watering.
Keeper is digging up the world down here, dammit, I wish he would go home!
The swimming pool is ready and waiting for the kids..
Tutz and I have been keeping the catfish scared to death at Tawakoni.
We were asked to fish a private pond a few days back, we thought why not we will give it a try.....OMG!!!
8 catfish averaged 12 lbs that is about 100 lbs of fish!! So much fun, I laughed so hard, yes I peed myself again!! Tutz had CatZilla on her line and we had no dip net...She told me to help her.....
Everyone even she know I am of NO help, so I grab the 8lb test line she has on her rod and pull it next to the wooden pier........yes it cuts it like a knife. CatZilla is laughing as I look at Tutz. Which the saying is true, If Looks could Kill, I would be dead. So then it is my turn to snag Monster Fish..sure enough he takes my bait and I jerk as hard as I ever have...cannot turn this Monster..I have a bruise on my belly from just hanging onto this rod, it is singing as the line goes out farther and farther, I look for help...it aint gonna happen. So her I am wet drawers, spinning reel, running for the bank to drag Monster Fish in....It was all a sight to behold.
So my summer will be yard mowing and fighting off Monster Fish!!
Pam mentioned in her blog all the angels watching from heaven, I wonder how different things in my current world would be if those angels were still with us. Sometimes I feel ashamed of all the times I have called on them to pull us out of the hell we are currently in, and then I wake the next morning and I thank them all for granting me another day. I know this will pass with a little help from my friends and family.
Love to all...Nen

Wow what a ride!
On March 23rd, 2012, I resigned from my position at Rains Intermediate school. I worked for the district 14 years and in that time only held 2 positions. 12 as the payroll clerk and 2 as a secretary. At the time of my resignation I was told my former boss wanted me fired, so that was why I was transfered to the campus. So the lesson I learned was, if you want to keep your job, you have to play the game. Here is the kicker, they are the ones that have all the marbles and the rules are changed for "the greater good" of which you will never be privvy too!
Yes Carla it does feel good! Free at last Free at last, thank God almighty....
So I have cleaned the house, washed clothes, been the bus driver for the kids when Janie overslept, now gas is to high, so thereal bus will have to make 2 runs our way!
I have mowed the yard, planted tomatoes, cleaned the fridge on the back porch (disgusting!)
I got to go to Austin and help Jeannette with her grands for a while, which came at the best of times for me, the next week after my resignation. I will get to go back at the end of April for the Country Living Fair and then in June we go to the Bahamas (again)!! So I really don't have time to get a job or have a job right now.
I hope to make it until September and then start looking for something to do, so I can have some Christmas Money...did I say Christmas? it is not even Easter yet, soon, but not yet!
My company during the day is Macky and Keeper, macky the old dog and then Keeper the NEW dog all of which do not belong to me or us..These are the kids pets. Macky is a mutt and Keeper is a Brindle Boxer puppy..dang it he is so cute! They pin him up during the day and I hear him howling so I walk up and let him out, then grip cause he is under my feet...feel like granny Jennie!
I just heard Jack crank up his lawnmower, I wonder if he will mow the whole yard this time or only the part seen from the road?
I have started playing Words with Friends on FB and I love it. I just heard the bubbles popping so off I go.
Looking forward to Blizzard of the Month Club meeting, come join us on Monday at 4 Emory DQ!

Spring Break 2012
So it rained a bunch on Sat and Sun. Sunday afternoon late the boyz come over and the sun is finally peeking out over the clouds and tree tops. Water is rushing down the creek in front of our house. This is to much temptation for ANYONE..so in goes the cutest 4 and 6 yr old boys to there knees in the creek of cold water. Fun, giggles and lots of splashing. Janie asks if I have plans on Monday I say no, then say yes.......they can stay with me. She will drop them off, I say let them spend the night so they can sleep in.
All the clothes get dumped on the back porch and naked butts run to the tub....I love Mr. Giggles bubbles. Kyle always wants 3 times more bubbles than water, so this time I do it. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will. the little bit of water that was in the tub found its way to the floor and I was left with to soapy little boys to shower off.
So we all go to bed, this time it is Kenny's turn to sleep with Pa and Kyle is stuck with me. I am never there first choice because I don't sleep with scuba equipment attached to my face. ( Kent's C-Pap mask) So I am the one that makes them say there prayers...If I should die before I wake...usually gets there attention and brings on a whole bunch of questions. So we talk a bunch which is right down my alley.
This morn we wake up and Kyle get to choose breakfast......NO donuts, NO cinnamon rolls. He chose Panny Cakes and syrup....Kenny really wanted waffles, so I stabbed his pancake with the tater masher and he was good with it. No I have no waffle iron named Sparky, Karen Mays! Well after breakfast they immediatley wanted to go outside, it is beautiful so I say sure...WAIT!!!!your shoes are still wet from last night, I wash and dry them, this takes most of the morning so we decide to go to McD. and play for awhile with clean shoes to compliment a few ckn nuggets. After McD we are off to WalMart, Kenny wants to go to the dollar Store, you can get more toys at the dollar store than at WMart. I tell him the treats on Pa to relax and enjoy looking and shopping. He is the best kid, he would bring over a toy and say if I get this one how many more can I have? Kyle wants a sword and thats ALL. They both seems satified with the toys they chose so I remember the shoe thing and we go for some rubber boots. Kenny ask if he has to put his toy back if he gets those boots? Kyle aint buyng no shoes he hates shoes. I tell Kenny, Nope you can have both....Now they both get to play Tball this year so we look at the gloves. I let them pick out a glove Kyle could care less, again Kenny has his eye on them toys....DON"T worry about it Kenny I got this. He will pinch every penny ten times before he makes a decision, yes he would get that from his Pa......
So finally we are on the way home. Janie calls it is 4 she will be there soon, thank you thank you thankyou Mom for the boots, the ones thy have are way to small so they were needed. She was thrilled with the gloves and toys too.
Well later on that afternoon she sends the boys with something for Pa and they are running thru the woods right for the creek. They stop on a dime and both of them look down at there feet, then plunge right in the water.......Yep they got them rubber boots on...score one for Nen without the scuba gear...
Take a minute here to Thank the Good Lord for all the blessings I have in my life.
And to all a good night......Nen

Se Abla Espano ???
I think that mean you speak Spanish....well NO I don't, so I ask and Josh says I speak some Spanish, so I transfer the call. He starts out so strong on his phone, I was really impressed. then the look of fear comes across his face. The other end of the line was so proud to hear someone speaky de Espano, apprently this guy goes into great detail about whatever he called for and Josh was totally silent..No Clue..could NOT respond..I faintly understood Josh to say Telly phono Numero, call you back later. I was laughing so hard, I didn't pee but it did feel good to laugh at him! He found someone to translate and all is right with the world.

Laugh till you pee your pants
Anyone beside me ready to do that???I am so ready for all the sadness to be over. I want to laugh. I want to enjoy my job, I want a new bathroom, I want Kent's stress test to be over, it's stressing me out!
I met the ppl that bought Mom and Doe's house....I really like them. They are totally remodeling the kitchen. It will include a dishwasher! What a great idea. Can you believe it, the house was built in 1967 and to this day never had a dishwasher. Gee Mom, guess this lady didn't have any kids to do chores! Some of my fondest memories where at that kitchen sink. Well's here to new memories at a new sink in the happiest house I ever knew.
I did get to laugh a little at work last week. We had benchmarks for 4th grade writing. They had to write a story about there favorite person. So naturally " The Day at the Waterpark" was one of the titles....okay you gotta laugh about that...just saying. There was this other time when we ask the kids to write thank you notes to a sponsor for a good deed. We sent out a little letter stating it would be nice to thank the kind people for all they did for our school. One of the thank you's was worded exactly like that..Dear Sponsor, it would be nice to thank kind ppl.................I kept that one in my secret File!
Hope Paul is doing well, we enjoyed seeing Carla and Morgan, Katelyn and the family. Daddy Shy would be proud to see the turn out. Much ado about nothing is what I bet he would say.
Kent got tired of my floor in this closet I call my computer room, so he put down matching laminet flooring like the rest of the house. I keep saying no one see this but me, but it bothered him enough he crawled around on his belly for 2 days. I must say it is nice not to hang up my chair on carpet. Thank you Kent in all your wisdom...Now remodel my bathroom!
Gonna watch the Mavs whip those Clippers....
This for Net if she is reading it: Sure as grass grows round the stump your my lil sugar lump! Happy Valentine day from Pa Buster and me!!
Nite to all and to all Nitey Nite! Nene

my oh my the pie
I love that slogan.....also the name Piggy Smalls...I just giggle everytime I think of that name. I read it on FB its the name of a pet swine of one of my friends. Speaking of swine, Kharley's new porker is Big Bertha, she is huge and in heat they told me. She needs to be on medication. I was "helping" her(kharley) at the barn and Bertha bolted for the door, so DumbAss here steps in front of Big Bertha and was knocked up against the barn, which did not give. How do you stop a pig in heat? She was determine to get out of there and I was nothing but in the way. I left after she broke loose and told Kharley..See Ya!!
There were other pig ppl there so I did not leave her by herself. But Kentlee and I went WEE WEE WEE all the home!!!!
Kyle has the Flu, sad, Janie has been off with him all week and is in jeopardy of losing her job, Jeff is no help, so I told her I would keep him tomorrow and Friday. If he gives me the flu on Canton weekend....hell to pay boy!!!!
this past weekend I was digging thru the storage bldg and found Aunt Myrtles recipe box. I have had the best time going thru all the recipes she had. I can tell you this..There are 100's of recipes for prune cakes and plum puddings. Big on Prunes!!!! Some of the recipes were hand written by Granny Mc (my great granny) and signed and dated. it would say written by Ida Aug. 1958.
I also found the coolest Jello Brand Jello recipe booklet. Dated 1923 the graphics in it is AWESOME!! They look like the original Campbell Soup kids in the book. So neat and I am so proud I did not throw away all that stuff and junk that Kent calls it!
Kent had a scare. He thought he was having some heart issues, so we went to his dr. in Canton. He took xrays and did lab work and a EKG. It all showed normal but to be on the safe side Kent will have a stress test this month. 2 day stress test a Friday and Monday. That is enough to stress him out. Having to be off work 2 days to walk on a treadmill!! He will be glad when this is over for sure.
Okay the Mavs are playing Thunder gotta go watch that, with a bowl of ice cream w/choc. syrup....I aint having no stress test!! LOL!!
Good nite to all and to all a Good nite! Go MAVS!! Nen

Member ME?
That's what Kyle tells his speech therapist. Hey Member me? I am so fortunate to be close enough to get told all the funnies that come out of Kyle's mouth.
Kent got a new Hot Rod Magazine, So Kent, Kenny and Kyle all sitting in the swing looking at every page, picking out the one they wanted. Asking Pa if it was a Ford..YUK! we dont like Fords Pa. So Funny listening to the Big Kid tell the 2 little kids One day guys we will have one just like it.
Kent told me today he was going to get the 68 Chevelle ready for Kharley she is 11, maybe it will happen in the next 5 years. Then he started talking about getting the trucks fixed for the boyz. He got 9 or 11 years to gets those going.
Kharley has started basketball season, her team has played 3 times only lost 1. They have a good team this year. I hope they get to go back to the playoff's. Maybe it will be in Greenville this year!
Kent's uncle Paul and aunt Brenda took us to eat last nite and then came back here and we visited until almost 930. It was wonderful. Had not really got to visit with them since before the McKenzie Christmas. We are going to try to make it a monthly event. I love them both so much.
We worked outside all day today. We have so many dead trees in front of our house, we stacked limbs and then set them on fire. Kent put the blade on the tractor and kept it stacked up for me. The wind was out of the south so no danger in catching to much on fire. It felt so good to be outside.
I had put a blanket in the washer and was going to give it to a friend of mine and it fell apart. I had no idea it was a foam type blanket, it melted in the washer. I had to get the vaccum to clean the washer...weirdest material I have ever seen. So sorry friend no blanket for you.
Kent got invited to the Barret Jackson Auction in Arizona with Cord and David. He could not go but we had the best time watching Cord bid on cars. Can't believe he bought a purple Caddy! There was a wonderful red Chevelle for a mere 70K.........He really needs to love me more than his daughter!! Dang, maybe next time...yeah right!
I did get another invite to the Bahama's by Cord and his family, this time I aint passing it up! Going in May!
Since I have discovered Pinterest it is very hard to update this blog. But I will try. you satified Net?
The Good wife is on in 30 minutes so I have to get ready!
Love to all and to all a Good Week/Month or whenever I see you next. XOXOXOXO Nen
