Last weekday of My Jan. Vacation

Friday Jan. 6, 2017 and it snowed!  We had made the decision earlier in the day to run to Tyler to spend he gift certificate Tony and his family got him from his favorite place Harbor Freight.
Random stuff runs thur my head all the time so keep up if you can.  This morning on TV I heard the phrase "it's snowing in the panhandle"  that phrase brings back wonderful winter childhood memories.  I can remember Granny Jennie telling us it was snowing in the panhandle and we would go get our coats on. We had no idea Amarillo was 700 miles away, how different the weather was there than in Point, or what the hell a panhandle was but Granny said it was snowing and we knew she watched the local channels.
Last night my I and O was sticking on my key board, I was told to get contact cleaner and spray it on and it would clean the Dr. Pepper from the KB.  Today I stopped by an automotive parts store and it was 12 dollars a can.  So I went to a computer repair shop in Lindale and asked the guy what I could do. He said to spray it with diluted alcohol, take the batteries out of it first, spray it turn it over and let it air dry.  UH Thank you Mr. Computer man for saving me the $12 and a new KB!  He is located by Brookshires in Lindale.
November Kenny asked if he could have new basketball shoes, since his old ones were to small, I told him to find them online the ones he wanted and I would get them ordered.  Kharley and Kyle both over heard "find them online" and they too needed new shoes.  So what's a granny to do.  Kenny needed his for basketball, Kharley the Fashionista and shoe horse, and Kyle wears his out faster than they can be replaced, so naturally I said ok.  Basketball practice started and no shoes, Kharley and Kyles shoes came in, not Kenny's..I get back online and see where they are, well Kenny's are coming from China and the boat sank, so they reordered them..TODAY they came in 2 months after they were ordered.  This is a note to self:  Always look at website children are spending your money on.
